With nptool v4 a new organisation is in the work. We created several work packages with identified convener responsible for following, reporting and animating the implementation of new functionality and plugin. Their role is also to guarantee the different part of the project are up to standards and support is provided to users and developers.
Adrien Matta (LPC Caen): Lead developper and Spokesperson
Adrien started the nptool project in 2008 as part of his PhD thesis at IPNOrsay. He has been the lead developer of the framework since. As a lead developper he oversees the work of each work package and propose new ones.
Pierre Morfouace (CEA): WG1 Data conversion
With activities at various lab, Pierre as become our resident expert when it come to implement new data conversion plugin for the framework!
Valerian Girard-Alcindor (IJCLab): WG2 Simulation
In addition to his duty as Simulation coordinator, also play the essential role of Happiness Manager for the collaboration.
Charlie Paxman (GANIL): WG3 Reproducible analysis
With a strong interest in open science and data quality, Charlie is in charge of implementing the road map for reproducible analysis using the framework. This include compatibility with tool such as Snakemake and the implementation of data versioning.
Freddy Flavigny (LPC Caen): WG4 CI/CD
Delivering a strong CI/CD pipeline allowing user to deploy nptool as containers in any environment.
